Club Bâtard is a private members' club where wine, food, and people come together in a refined environment.

At its core, the club offers access to a world that is usually out of reach: dining at sought-after venues with acclaimed chefs, rare wines, and privileged entry to estates and wine regions around the world.

Each clubhouse is located in a prime, central location, housed within a landmark space of character and distinction, and designed to a level that members are proud to call their own. Club Bâtard offers its members exceptional value: all of its wines at retail prices (with no restaurant mark-ups), saving members significantly compared to other restaurants.

2. Shanghai Clubhouse & Cha House

Cha House is an architectural jewel — a restored historic mansion located in the heart of Jing'an, along West Nanjing Road, and now part of the HKRI Taikoo Hui development. Originally built in 1920 as a private residence and later transformed into a school, the building embodies a unique fusion of Western and Chinese architectural influences. Its south façade reflects Baroque and German Neoclassical styles, while the north integrates elements of traditional Jiangnan timber architecture.

Today, Cha House stands as both a cultural landmark and a striking contrast to its modern surroundings. Amid the glass and intensity of modern Shanghai, it preserves a sense of history and identity. The building becomes Club Bâtard's second clubhouse, echoing its signature location in Hong Kong's Pedder Building.
